Hillcrest area gets M/I Homes

Wheelock Communities, the developer of the 1,400-acre Sweetwater master-planned community off Hwy. 71 west of Bee Cave, announced M/I Homes as its newest builder May 19.

M/I Homes will build in the development's new Hillcrest neighborhood, with pricing expected to start in the $400,000s. A model home and sales office will open in late summer.

The builder is the ninth in the development, joining Ashton Woods, Chesmar, Coventry, David Weekley Homes, Drees Custom Homes, River Oaks, Ryland and Taylor Morrison. More than 200 homes have been sold since the community opened in 2012.

"M/I Homes has an established national reputation and will provide Sweetwater homebuyers with an excellent new builder

option," Wheelock Communities' Regional Partner Mike Rafferty said.
