West Lake Hills residents voted Darin Walker to City Council Place 4 over Gibbons Burke by a margin of 538 votes to 531 votes, according to unofficial results.

According to early voting Darin Walker is leading the race for West Lake Hills City Council Place 4 over Gibbons Burke by a count of 421 to 410.
Burke, a former software and data provider, said he wants to serve the community and has gratitude for what is already in place.
Walker, a near lifelong resident of West Lake Hills, said he wants the council to have balance and will focus on the safety of the city's residents.
Chris Yurkanan originally filed to run for Place 4 but withdrew his candidacy because of health issues.
West Lake Hills Mayor Dave Claunch and Councilman Place 2 Taylor Holcomb are running unopposed.
