Ashby Grundman was hired as the new West Lake Hills city planner March 24, replacing Davin Fillpot.
"I look forward to being able to see the community develop and how it will change over the next few years," said Grundman, a graduate of Texas A&M University. "I look forward to having an input on that."
Grundman served for two years as the city planner for the city of Pasadena, Texas, before accepting the job in West Lake Hills. He said while in Pasadena, he worked with more commercial development than he expects to see in West Lake Hills, which is more residential.
"Right now I am familiarizing myself with the ordinances [of the city] and will start working on projects in a few weeks," he said.
