The Pflugerville Community Development Corp. announced Jan. 27 its hire of Amy Madison as its new assistant executive director.
Madison, who joined PCDC on Jan. 22, brings 12 years of experience to the corporation. Her career history includes jobs as president of the Greater San Marcos Partnership, owner of a consulting firm providing economic development services and executive director for the city of Schertz.
"Amy Madison's credentials, experience and contacts in the industry, combined with her professional drive, make her a great fit for our team," PCDC Executive Director Floyd Akers said in a statement.
The position was previously held by Mary Poch, who left PCDC in December.
