After moving in November to its new Cedar Park location, Dr. Tom Neblett said Kapsner Chiropractic Center's location challenges in Leander may be straightened out.
The new location is on Whitestone Boulevard within the Depot at Cedar Park commercial center.
"Now we're on [FM] 1431, directly behind H-E-B and the new Rail Yard [shopping center] next to Wild West nightclub," Neblett said. "Before we said, 'Well, head out [US] 183, go right across the street from Block House Creek, there's a light there, Osage [Drive].' To me it's fairly simple, but I had friends who would call me from Crystal Falls or [Old FM] 2243 and say, 'I never did see your clinic.'"
In 2011, Dr. Michael Kapsner, an Austin chiropractor, bought Leander Pain Relief Center in Leander from Dr. Jonathan Group. That made it the fourth location of Kapsner Chiropractic, Neblett said.
Neblett said he has worked for Kapsner for about five years after running his own South Austin practice for 10 years.
Kapsner of Cedar Park treats victims of vehicle accidents and workman's compensation cases, Neblett said, as well as general chiropractic patients. The clinic accepts nearly every insurance and has plans for cash-paying customers.
The new Cedar Park office offers more space for the clinic's services—chiropractic care, massages at the hands of three on-staff therapists, rehabilitative exercises and spinal disc decompression therapy.
"My adjusting rooms were very small in the old place," Neblett said. "So it's nice to have dedicated treatment rooms where I can work on my patients and not have them also looking at the stacks of mess on my desk."
