Fans of Four Points' Rise and Shine Bakery, 10601 RR 2222, Austin, will be treated to a new look when the local restaurant reopens Jan. 2 as Hayley Cakes & Cookies.
Owner Hayley Callaway said the storefront will close on Dec. 24 to undergo an extensive remodel.
Along with new display cases, Callaway will officially change the name of the business as well as its primary focus—baked goods and catering.
Callaway will introduce a new menu in January and plans to continue serving coffee, kolaches, muffins, breads and cinnamon rolls in the mornings, she said.
"[The restaurant] will have a different feel, a different vibe," she said.
