The speed limits along the RR 620 corridor, from Anderson Mill Road to Hwy. 71, have been lowered by at least 5 miles per hour, said Kelli Reyna, Texas Department of Transportation spokeswoman.

She said the speed limit on the majority of the RR 620 roadways was lowered by 5 miles per hour but some have been lowered even more. The change was approved on Oct. 30 but does not become effective until signs are posted on the roadway denoting the new speed limits, she said.
