Bury, an Austin-based design consulting firm, may not be a household name for many people.

But with a list of projects that includes Dell Children's Medical Center, The Domain and The University of Texas Medical School, there is a good chance most Austinites are familiar with many of the projects on which the firm has worked. And with a company rebranding that shortened its name from Bury+Partners to Bury, the firm is looking to let clients and the public know about Bury's efforts to "design the world around us," Bury Marketing Director Nick Moulinet said.

"The picture is what we do matters and touches lots of people and projects," Moulinet said. "We focus on building our communities."

Though Bury started as a civil engineering and survey firm in January 1984, its services now include structural engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, transportation, landscape architecture and public works. The firm is responsible for much of the back end and logistics of projects it works on, Moulinet said.

The firm, which employs about 285 people, was founded in Austin and now has offices in Houston, San Antonio, Temple and Dallas, Moulinet said.

Bury CEO and President Paul Bury said in a news release that while the firm's logo and name has changed, its commitment to clients remains the same.

"At Bury, we begin every project by identifying its potential, and the approach to our continued growth as an industry leader should be no different," he said. "By looking at our potential as a brand, we've discovered a new, better Bury, 30 years in the making."
