The Lake Travis Lions Club will host its annual charity dog walk at Lakeway City Park on Hurst Creek Drive at 10 a.m. Oct. 26.

Proceeds from the 11th annual Halloween dog walk go toward purchasing eye glasses for needy children in the Lake Travis ISD, leader dogs for the blind and a local dog rescue program.

Costumes are optional for the Halloween dog walk, but prizes will be awarded for the best five costumes.

Preregistration for the event is $15 and day-of registration is $18. The first 50 entrants receive a T-shirt, and preregistration is available online at www.laketravislions.org.
