The following is a list of lane closures due to construction projects in and around The Woodlands area. Among the major projects currently under construction are the Hwy. 242 flyovers, Grand Parkway, and the San Jacinto River Authority's Ground Water Reduction Plan.

Northbound I-45 North frontage road from Shenandoah to Hwy. 242, inside lane closed until further notice

Northbound I-45 North frontage road from Spring Stuebner entrance ramp to north of Spring Crossing/Hardy Toll Road Exit, one inside lane closed continuously until 6 a.m., July 8, 2015.

Northbound I-45 North exit ramp to Spring Crossing/Hardy Toll Road, total closure. Ramp is closed continuously until 6 a.m. July 8, 2015. Detour to Spring Stuebner exit.

Northbound I-45 North from Spring Stuebner to Spring Crossing/Hardy Toll Road exit, outside lane will be closed continuously until 6 a.m., July 8, 2015. Only the shoulder, not the highway lane, will be closed.

Northbound I-45 and southbound from Spring Cypress Road/FM 2920 to Spring Crossing, two alternate lanes are closed continuously until 5:30 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015. Ramp will remain open.

Southbound I-45 entrance ramp from Spring Crossing, total closure continuously until 6 a.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Follow signage.

Hwy. 242 westbound from I-45 to University Drive, one outside lane is closed until further notice.

Southbound lanes of Grogan's Mill Road from Woodlands Parkway to South Millbend Drive, total closure until spring 2014. Temporary lanes do provide access to the Grogan's Mill Village Center and North Millbend Drive.

Eastbound lane of Research Forest Drive between Alden Bridge Drive and Shadowbend Drive, except for the section near The Woodlands High School, outside lane closed until January 2014.

Eastbound lanes of Research Forest Drive between West Trillium Circle and Grogan's Mill Road, total closure until January 2014. Traffic is being diverted onto a lane on the westbound side of Research Forest.
