Spring Cypress Stingrays

Conceived in 2000, the Spring Cypress Stingrays swim team wanted to offer a team for Cypress youth through high school. Based out of the Longwood subdivision off Telge Road, the West One division team serves Cypress neighborhoods such as Coles Crossing, Wortham, Fairfield, Bridgeland, Rock Creek, Lakewood Oakes Estates, Lakewood Glen Trails and Fairwood. The Spring Cypress swim team is a part of a conglomerate group of Cypress swim clubs that compose the Northwest Aquatic League—the second largest league in the nation. As a way for multi-sport athletes to stay in shape, the swim team's schedule is situated during the summer after the school year. The Stingrays offer scholarships for graduating seniors.

Registration fee is $65 with a $105 swimmer fee.

Cypress Fairbanks Swim Club

Cypress Fairbanks Swim Club was initiated in 1975 as a training program for Bleyl Junior High School. Since 1976, the pilot swim program has opened a full 50-meter facility in northwest Houston with 300 plus swimmers and four training facilities. FLEET swimmers compete at the program's Olympic-sized heated outdoor pool. Dedicated to providing members of northwest Houston quality swim programs, CFSC offers physical and athletic programs for participants of all ages and swimming capabilities. Satellite programs for the team's copper through silver programs are offered at certain CFISD schools during the season.

Texas Terrapin Swim Team

As a fast-growing, nonprofit organization, the Texas Terrapin swim team is headed by a coaching staff with more than 30 years of experience. Dedicated to achieving the highest competitive swimming while keeping to their principles of a family oriented environment, the Terrapins offer flexible practice schedules for each swimmer. Non-competitive programs are offered year round along with summer leagues and swim clinics. The Terrapins offer eight pool locations with three based in Fairfield and five at CFISD schools. The team hosts open enrollment for swimmers to join year round.

Cypress Creek Barracudas Offering programs for toddlers through high school swimmers, the Cypress Creek Barracudas strive to offer a healthy activity for kids and teenagers to promote fitness and physical achievement. As a part of the Cypress Creek Recreation Association, conceived in 1968, the Barracuda coaches work to offer skills including sportsmanship and team building for team members. Registration is open to the community with registration fees dependent on membership with Cypress Creek Recreation Association. Swim meets take place throughout May within the Northwest Aquatic League in Cypress.

Cypress Cyclones

As a part of the neighborhood swim clubs within the Cypress area, the Cypress Cyclones were established in 2002. The Cyclones fall under the Northwest Aquatic League jurisdiction and practice and compete at the Cypress Point Subdivision pool off Barker Cypress and Spring Cypress. Four neighborhoods, including Enchanted Valley, Heatherwood, Bear Creek and Chimney Hill, comprise the swim team.
