In an effort to globally grow Austin's technology companies, startup accelerator Tech Ranch announced May 2 that is has partnered with a Singapore-based company, get2volume.
Both companies focus on mentoring startup businesses in technology-related fields. The partnership will allow startups in Austin and Singapore to have access to each others' programs as a way to globally grow their businesses.
"In today's shrinking world, emerging companies have to think global from a very early stage to win," said Sandeep Kumar, general partner of business development for Tech Ranch, in a news release. "G2V offers excellent opportunities for Tech Ranch companies to enter the Asian markets using Singapore as a launching point. This partnership is another way for us to help our entrepreneurs go global and provide a knowledgeable local partner who is familiar with startup challenges.
Tech Ranch, located at 9111 Jollyville Road Ste. 100, offers classes, workshops, mentorship programs, networking events, work space and more to entrepreneurs. Get2volume, uses funding from Singapore's National Research Foundation Invests in its mentoring efforts for companies in microelectronics.
