The board of trustees announced April 19 the hiring of two new principals.

Dina Schaefer, who comes from Round Rock ISD, was hired to lead Kelly Lane Middle School. Elia Mar Daz-Ortiz, formerly of Austin ISD, was named principal at Copperfield Elementary School.
