Sandwich chain Jersey Mike's Subs is slated to open its doors at the Hill Country Galleria by August, Assistant Vice President Travis Robertson of The Retail Connection, a Dallas-based commercial real estate brokerage firm with offices in Austin, said April 10.

Robertson said the eatery is planned to be housed at 4005 Market St., Ste. 140 in Bee Cave, in a 1,500-square-foot pad site currently under construction near Dick's Sporting Goods and Twin Liquors.

Jersey Mike's Subs began its operations in 1956 out of a storefront in the beachside community of Point Pleasant, N.J. The business has expanded to more than 600 locations that are open or currently under development.
