Dylan Andrew Quick, 20, has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault in connection with today's stabbing incident at LSC–CyFair, which left 14 people injured.
According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, Quick reportedly used a razor-type knife to stab and cut those injured on the campus. The handle of a razor-type knife was found in a backpack Quick was carrying when he was arrested, and broken blade pieces were found in the area on campus in which the incident occurred, according to the HCSO.

During a press conference this afternoon, Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia gave updated details of the stabbing incident that occurred at LSC–CyFair around 11 a.m. this morning.
"This is a current and ongoing active investigation," he said. "Buildings are still being searched to confirm details that we have. Video evidence has been reviewed and provides us an indication that we can confirm at least one, and only one, suspect in this case."
At 11:12 a.m., the sheriff's office received an initial call about the stabbing, describing the suspect as a white male wearing a black hat and black and white shirt, Garcia said. Law enforcement officials have determined the man is 21 years old and a student at LSC, but the suspect's name has not been released.
Fourteen people were wounded during the incident, and while two refused treatment, 12 were sent to either Memorial Hermann or Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center. Of those in the hospital, two are in critical condition and four are in fair condition, Garcia said.
"Let me express our sincere concern for students involved, as our thoughts are obviously with them and their families," said Rand Key, senior vice chancellor and chief operating officer for the LSCS, during the press conference.
Law enforcement officials have not yet determined the type of weapon that was used in the stabbings, but Garcia confirmed a firearm was not involved.
LSCS officials sent out a system alert after learning of the stabbing, and the campus remained on lockdown as law enforcement arrived.
"During that time the buildings were monitored and once it was determined they were secured, an orderly evacuation of the campus commenced," Key said.
Garcia urged students at LSC–CyFair to call family members to ensure them they are OK, as the college is receiving hundreds of phone calls. The campus is closed for the remainder of the day, but classes will resume tomorrow morning.

Although law enforcement officials were previously searching for another person involved with the stabbing, there is only believed to be one suspect, according to Thomas Gilliland with the Harris County Sheriff's Office. That individual is in custody, but the campus remains on lockdown.
Additionally, at least 14 people were treated by the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department, but it is still unclear how many were students or teachers.
Campus officials have stated the reported stabbing happened near and around the Health Science Center. According to Gilliland, the suspect was allegedly running from building to building, but it is not clear what type of weapon was used, although there have been reports of pencils and a knife.
Freshman psychology major Paloma Chiu was in the health science center in her classroom when the incident occurred. She said she saw a male run down the hallway followed by another female who was bleeding from her neck. The female sustained a minor injury, she said.
Chiu described the suspect as a tall, red-headed male. Law enforcement has not confirmed any physical characteristics or details of the suspect.
College officials acted promptly and efficiently, however, as Chiu said she never felt in danger.
"They told us to get in the administration building and stay there until the police showed up," she said. "No one was really freaking out and they answered all of our questions."
