Wiseman earned a bachelor's degree in urban regional planning from Florida Atlantic University.
"I am just excited to be working in Round Rock," Wiseman said. "We have a great City Council, a great city manager and everyone works well together. There is a real get-it-done attitude."
As planning director, Wiseman will manage the city's planning, code enforcement and building regulation divisions.
"Brad has been a huge contributor towards the development success of Round Rock," Round Rock City Manager Steve Norwood said. "His knowledge of the city, dedication and loyalty to Round Rock will serve this community well for years to come."
