Owner Ebony Givens said she hopes to expand Yeyo's Beauty Supplies.

Owner Ebony Givens thought hair care would be her focus when she opened Yeyo's Beauty Supplies in August, but she soon discovered a demand for much more. The Kyle boutique has expanded its merchandise offerings to include purses, clothing, hats, footwear and a wide assortment of "bling bling" jewelry.

"I was not expecting to be this successful this soon," Givens said.

Hello Kitty items are some of the shop's hottest sellers, said Givens, who added she would like to expand in the next year or two.

"Kyle is growing, and we needed something that is kind of stylish and fresh because some people don't want to go to Austin or San Antonio," she said.
