The Round Rock ISD board of trustees is expected to discuss possible disciplinary action and censure of trustee Terri Romere at a closed-session meeting scheduled for Nov. 27.
Trustees could decide to take action after the closed session, said JoyLynn Occhiuzzi, executive director of community relations for RRISD. Censure is a formal statement of disapproval with no further consequences.
"I am unaware of what they [the trustees] will be discussing," Occhiuzzi said.
She said the agenda item regarding Romere was added last week and she does not know whether the meeting was prompted by new or past issues.
Romere has twice previously faced possible disciplinary action. On April 25, the board voted 5-0 to to censure Romere for what the board described as using bullying tactics if a vote did not go in her favor and for "behavior unbecoming of a trustee," according to previous Community Impact Newspaper coverage.
On Feb. 2, the board voted 5-2 to have the Williamson County Attorney's Office investigate whether or not she had violated the Texas Public Information Act. Romere received an email from a parent concerning boundary changes and forwarded it to a community member without redacting the parent's email address.
The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at Round Rock High School lecture hall, 300 Lake Creek Drive.
