Additional voting-day results have emerged, bringing Dale's total vote count to 24,478, or 54.69 percent of the vote with 19.35 percent of precincts reporting. Stillwell slightly inched forward with 40.05 percent, or 17,780 votes. Whittington remains in third place with 5.26 percent, or 2,334 votes.

As voting-day results slowly trickle in, Dale continues to lead the District 136 race with 21,512 votes. Stillwell is second with 15,443 votes while Whittington also trails with 1,872 votes.

Cedar Park Mayor Pro Tem Tony Dale holds a 15.54 percent lead for the Texas House of Representatives District 136 seat, according to unofficial early voting day results released at 7 p.m. Nov. 6.

With 55.4 percent of the vote, Dale, a Republican, leads Democrat Matt Stillwell, 39.86 percent, and Libertarian Matt Whittington, 4.74 percent.

Dale spent the final hours of the campaign in front of the Cedar Park Public Library before getting ready for the Williamson County Republican Party watch party at Wingate Inn Conference Center in Round Rock.

Stillwell toured several precinct polling places around Austin, including Purple Sage and Pond Springs elementary schools. He will join other Williamson County Democrats at a watch party at Fast Eddie's Lakeline location.

Whittington will join other Libertarians from Travis and Williamson counties in downtown Austin for a combined watch party.
