Photo by Amy DenneyRandolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union just opened its Austin administrative services center, but its leadership is already eyeing additional expansion in the area with four new branches in the works.
The new center, located at 11911 Burnet Road just north of IBM's Austin campus, will provide mortgage lending and small-business lending for its members and training for its employees. The center has a small branch inside where members can receive assistance on their accounts and other credit union needs.
"It's a statement of Randolph-Brooks' commitment to Austin," said John Kelly, executive vice president for operations and planning.
Aside from opening a new branch just down the road at The Domain at 10712 Burnet Road in early 2013, Kelly said RBFCU is planning a location on Slaughter Lane in South Austin and looking for a site near MoPac and West Hwy. 290. RBFCU just purchased land for a branch in Dripping Springs, he said.
