The City of Hutto is holding workshops June 25-26 to gather public input regarding the design and use of the Hutto Family YMCA, which is projected to break ground this fall.
The sessions will be held June 25 from 7-9 p.m. and June 26 from 10 a.m.-noon at City Hall in the Council Chambers, located at 401 W. Front St.
"We want to encourage people to come out and have a say in what you will have in your Hutto Family YMCA," Hutto Mayor Debbie Holland said.
Representatives from the City of Hutto, the YMCA of Greater Williamson County, and KAHickman Architects Interior Designers will consider ideas given by attendees at the meetings related to the building's uses for the community, functional requirements and aesthetics.
The facility is a result of the 2009 bond election and will be built north of Hwy. 79 near the Lowe's home improvement store.
