Pflugerville City Councilman Darelle White said May 31 he will not seek a third term this November.

"I've served two terms," White said. "What it comes down to is it gives somebody the opportunity to put their hat in the ring and run."

White said he was pleased with the direction the city was going and felt that the city leadership and staff were doing well.

"The city's in great hands," he said. "There are a lot of people engaged in making this a great place."

White has been the Place 3 councilman since 2006.
