In Hays CISD, three candidates are running for an at-large position, and two are running for the Single-member District 3 seat.

Candidates for the at-large positions are Doug Ragsdale, Holly Smith Raymond and Eric John. Candidates for the single-member District 3 seat are incumbent Bert Bronaugh Jr. and Robert Limon.

In San Marcos CISD, terms ended for the at-large trustee positions held by Board President David Chiu and member Judy Little Allen. Chiu and Allen face Juan Miguel Arredondo and Paul Mayhew for their seats on the board.

In Kyle, residents will decide on a ballot measure to allow sales of all alcoholic beverages, including mixed drinks.
