According to unofficial results from the Hays County elections office, Paul Mayhew and Judy Little Allen have secured the two at-large seats on the San Marcos CISD board of trustees.

The two faced current SMCISD Board President David Chiu and candidate Juan Miguel Arrendondo.

With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, results show Mayhew with 900 votes, or 30.74 percent. Allen received 895 votes, or 30.57 percent of the total.

Arredondo earned 587 votes, for 20.05 percent. Chiu earned 546 votes, or 18.65 percent. Numbers include the votes cast during the early voting period.

Totals are unofficial until the votes are canvassed.

Early voting

In early voting, Mayhew had earned 419 votes, or 33.95 percent, according to the county. Allen earned 408 votes, or 33.06 percent; Arredondo earned 211 votes, or 17.10 percent; and Chui earned 196 votes, or 15.88 percent.
