With more than 30 years of experience in the all-star cheer industry shared between owner Jeremiah Patton and head coach/program director Pepe Bridges, Dynamic Extreme Athletics steadily built up its roster of trainees.

The 10,000-square-foot cheerleading and exercise facility opened at the beginning of last year.

DEA offers classes for ages 18 months to 18 years old, but the gym's clientele is primarily made up of 7- through 12-year-olds coming to hone their tumbling and cheerleading skills. Its peak hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 4 to 9 p.m., Bridges said. The Open Gym and Parents Night Out events are popular with clients.

"We offer the same products (as similar gyms) but we have a more fun, friendlier and family-orientated, close-knit group," Bridges said. "Our style of coaching and the attention we pay to our kids helps set us apart."
