Before Crystal Springs officially opened its doors, they had bookings for 74 weddings.

"Since then, we've booked a total of 100," Manager Martha van Boven said.

Unlike many event facilities, Crystal Springs has no restrictions on guests bringing in their preferred florist, caterer, wedding coordinator or other vendors, according to Van Boven.

The venue does provide a preferred vendor list for people looking for recommendations. Another perk they offer is only booking one wedding a day so clients have full use of the grounds from 8 a.m. to midnight, she said. Weddings and receptions for 300 guests can be held inside or outside.

Outside features include a stone bridge for brides to walk across, a water feature with fish at one end of the stream and a gazebo overlooking a vast amount of pine trees. Van Boven said sometimes after 4 p.m., deer can be seen along the hillside.

"The best part of the job is to have happy brides and see people leave with smiles on their faces," she said.
