On Jan. 7, Lake Travis ISD, along with the City of Bee Cave and the Hill Country Galleria, sponsored a Parade of Champions to celebrate Lake Travis High School students' accomplishments, including the high school football team's fifth state championship, at the Hill Country Galleria.

The parade was also in honor of Lake Travis High School's two-time state championship for the Lady Cavs volleyball team, 2011 state champion boys golf team, 2011 state runner-up girls golf team, 2011 state-runner up tennis team, 2011 state finalist Mighty Cavalier Marching Band and 2011 National Merit Scholarship Program honorees.
