Public transportation options are being explored by the city of New Braunfels as part of a Transit Development Plan. A brief 14-question survey is being conducted by the city to determine travel patterns and public transit preferences from residents.

What they’re saying

“We’re exploring which transit options are most appealing to New Braunfels residents, what they would use those options for and why,” Transportation and Capital Programs Director Garry Ford said. “That can include ride-sharing programs; bus service; or improving the current Alamo Regional Transit service connecting them to work, school, stores, or medical/social services.”

The specifics

The survey is open to the entire community until July 7 and can be found at www.newbraunfels.gov/transit.
