Beginning Jan. 18, a portion of East San Antonio Street between Market Avenue and the downtown plaza will be closed to allow crews with New Braunfels Utilities to replace wastewater infrastructure.

Motorists traveling toward the bridge from the plaza will be detoured along Comal Avenue, Tolle Street and Gilbert Avenue to reach East San Antonio Street.

The closures are scheduled to last from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. daily to allow crews to maneuver equipment and materials.
