The sixth annual Back to School Bash will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Aug. 6 at Knights of Columbus, located at 111 Landa St. in New Braunfels. The goal of this year’s event is to raise over 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies for students in need.

The details

This year's bash will feature free haircuts from local barbers and hairstylists, and local vendors showcasing their products. Parents and kids can look forward to a variety of resources for back-to-school available at the event and music from Dat DJ, according to a news release.

"This event is a testament to the power of community collaboration," said Ben Sanchez, vice president for Go Green Botanicals. "With the help of NB Trail Team Six, local vendors, Veteran Air and the community, we can make a significant difference in the lives of our students."
