June 11: Learn about owls

Young nature lovers can learn about the role of owls in the local ecosystem with the Saturday SEAM: Owl Pellets program. Participants will study owl pellets to learn about the diets of native species. June 11: Pamper your pet

The Village Venue will host its first Pet Expo at the Freiheit Village plaza. Attendees can bring their pets to shop local vendors and enjoy food and drinks from food trailers. Enjoy New Braunfels’ rivers and parks during the annual Dos Rios Splash and Dash 5K. Runners participating in the event will begin at Cypress Bend Park and continue through Prince Solms Park. Universal City will bring back Splashfest with 17 inflatable rides for families to enjoy. Splashfest will feature a day of waterslides, games and more activities encouraging residents to have fun under the sun. The event will also have a DJ and concessions set up. The annual San Antonio Pride Bigger Than Texas Festival and Parade offers a day filled with activities in the Tobin Hill neighborhood north of downtown.
