On May 7, voters in New Braunfels will elect officials to the New Braunfels City Council and the school boards of New Braunfels ISD and Comal ISD.

Comal and Guadalupe county residents can vote at any location in their home county, and voting originally slated to take place at Peace Lutheran Church will now be held at the Westside Community Center in New Braunfels, according to Comal County elections officials.

Early voting for the New Braunfels May election began April 25 and ran through May 3.




New Braunfels voters will elect CISD school board members for districts 6 and 7.

Amanda Jones and Amber Bracegirdle are vying for the District 6 position, and David Krawczynski, Kaila Stovall, Stephen Gallets and Orlando Dona have filed to fill the District 7 seat.

Six candidates will jockey for two at-large seats and the District 1 position on the NBISD board of trustees.


Incumbent Wes Clark is running against Megan Stratemann-Willis, James Lenard and Matthew Sargent for the at-large positions, while incumbent Keith Smith is running against Morgan Renaud for the District 1 position.

Three candidates are running for New Braunfels City Council District 1 position in the upcoming May 7 election, and two candidates are running for the District 2 spot.

Andres Campos-Delgado, Jimmy Vallejo Delgado and Suzanne Kasey Lynn are on the ballot for District 1, while Fabian Castillo Dealva and Christopher Willis are vying for the District 2 seat.
