New Braunfels chamber to host candidates forum ahead of May 1 election

In preparation for the upcoming May 1 election, the Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership New Braunfels Alumni Association will host a candidate forum April 12 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

The forum will feature candidates running for City Council District 3, incumbent Harry Bowers and Kevin Robles, and candidates running for City Council District 4, Joy Harvey and Lawrence Spradley.


Speakers will also provide information about the 18 proposed city charter amendments.

The forum is open to the public. Attendees can purchase tickets online for $14 each, and tickets include lunch. For more information about voting locations and dates, visit www.voteinnewbraunfels.com.
