The details
All three trustees have served three-year terms and have held their current positions on the board since May 2021. The board voted to call the election during a regular meeting on Jan. 25.
The board is made up of seven single-member districts, and each trustee must live in the district they represent. The board’s primary functions are goal setting, approving the budget and policymaking, according to the district's website.
CISD is accepting applications for the positions until Feb. 16. More information on applying to serve on the board of trustees can be found on the district’s website.
