The 96,000-square-foot campus features outdoor courtyards, play areas, indoor gyms and large classrooms for students, among other amenities.
The campus provides relief for Morningside and Garden Ridge elementary schools. Voters passed a 2021 bond election to fund the construction of the $35 million elementary campus.
Classes began at the elementary school, located at 233 Hubertus Road, New Braunfels, on Aug. 21.
“On behalf of the Comal ISD board of trustees administration, we hereby dedicate Comal Creek Elementary. ... May teachers and students teach and learn for decades and decades to come,” Comal ISD Superintendent John Chapman III said.
