Previously, the board held meetings once a month, and NBISD Superintendent Randy Moczygemba began hosting weekly Wednesday parent Zoom conferences in early July.
Plans for the 2020-21 school year will be discussed at the meetings, and the public may attend the meetings virtually through Zoom.
The board is expected to decide whether to begin the school year Aug. 24 with remote-only instruction for all students or to offer parents the option to choose between remote or on-campus learning.
“It is our goal within a week to tell you whether we are [doing] remote only for all students or a choice of remote or on-campus,” Moczygemba said during the July 22 parent Zoom conference. “We know that parents do work and you’ve got to make decisions and absolutely that information will be coming to you.”
