Blanton began her teaching career as an elementary teacher in Abilene ISD before working as a teacher, instructional coach, academic dean and assistant principle in Judson ISD.
In fall 2019, Blanton joined NBISD and worked as the assistant principle at Seele Elementary during the 2019-2020 school year.
“I am excited and honored to be named the new principal at Seele Elementary,” Blanton said in a press release. “Serving as the assistant principal last year was a wonderful experience as I got to know the students, families, and community members that embrace Seele as a treasure. I look forward to serving our students in the coming years with excitement and dedication.”
Blanton will begin her new role on July 27.
