In a statement released Aug. 1, officials from the Federal Bureau of Investigations in San Antonio announced that individuals who were tested for COVID-19 at Living Health Holistic Healthcare in New Braunfels may need to be tested again.

According to the statement, authorities believe the tests administered at the facility should not have been used to diagnose or rule out an active infection.

Individuals who were tested at the facility are asked to contact the FBI at 210-225-6741 and select prompt No. 1 or to reach out online at www.tips.fbi.gov.

are also encouraged to contact a primary care physician, local health department, freestanding ER or urgent care facility to be tested anew.

On Aug. 5, Comal County reported 56 new coronavirus cases for a total of 2,287 since the pandemic began.


The county has also reached 60 deaths due to the coronavirus, with the latest being a New Braunfels resident in her 60s.
