Both patients live in New Braunfels households with patients that had previously reported cases. One patient is in their 40s and the other is in their 50s.
The county also reported two additional recoveries, bringing the total recoveries to 34 with seven active cases.
Two of the remaining active cases are hospitalized while the rest are in self-isolation at home.
As of Wednesday, the Office of Public Health has received reports of 606 tests conducted with 26 results still pending. Guadalupe County reported a total of 63 local cases on Tuesday, April 21. One previously announced case was assigned to a different county.
Of those confirmed cases in Guadalupe County, 40 have recovered and 23 are still active, with two patients currently hospitalized. The remaining patients are self-isolated at home.
New Braunfels has 27 cases across both counties and a drive-thru testing center is available to all residents by appointment. Several local providers are also offering testing.
