Comal County announced on Tuesday, April 14, that three more COVID-19 patients had recovered from the disease, but two more cases had been reported to the Office of Public Health (OPH). The new case announced on Monday by the county was removed from the tally because the patient lives in Kendall County.

There are now 39 confirmed cases of the virus in Comal county and 14 are active. There have been six deaths, with two occurring over Easter weekend.

The OPH has received reports of 441 tests and there are 70 results pending.

Guadalupe County reported a total of 50 cases on Monday with 27 recoveries. Two Guadalupe residents are hospitalized but no deaths were reported as of Tuesday morning.

Seven of Guadalupe's cases are in New Braunfels and Comal County has reported 12 cases in the city as well.
