The New Braunfels Utilities offices and drive-thru will be closed Sept. 5 in observance of Labor Day.

Utility bill payments can still be made on Labor Day online at www.nbutexas.com, over the phone at 844-863-7360 or by utilizing the NBU Night Drop located at 263 Main Plaza. Payments can also be made at Western Union Convenience Pay Service at H-E-B grocery stores throughout Comal County or Arlan’s Market in New Braunfels.

Customers needing to report an outage or service issue may call NBU’s 24-hour Control Center at 830-629-4628. The Texting Outage Notification System allows customers who are enrolled in the program to report or receive notifications about outages in their area by text message. To enroll, text NBU to 85700, or visit www.nbutexas.com/report-an-outage. To use this service, you must have your mobile number associated with your account, according to NBU.
