The New Braunfels Utilities offices and drive-thru will be closed Aug. 9 to allow employees to attend a full-staff meeting.

Customers experiencing an outage or service issue can call NBU’s 24-hour Control Center at 830-629-4628. Customers who are enrolled in the Texting Outage Notification System can receive notifications about outages in their area by text message. To enroll, the customer must have their mobile number associated with the account and text NBU to 85700 or visit www.nbutexas.com/report-an-outage, according to a press release from NBU.

While NBU offices are closed, customers can make their utility payments online at www.nbutexas.com or by calling 844-863-7360. Payments can also be made at the NBU night drop located at 263 Main Plaza or the Western Union Convenience Pay Service at H-E-B grocery stores throughout Comal County, Arlan’s Market and Ace Cash Express in New Braunfels.
