Local utility provider New Braunfels Utilities announced it will host a pair of community forums at the New Braunfels Civic/Convention Center on Oct. 2. A morning session will be held at 9 a.m. and an evening session at 6 p.m. NBU Chief Exectuive Officer Ian Taylor will discuss the city of New Braunfels’s water supply as well as the strategic investments NBU is making to sustain the water supply for the local community. A number of NBU specialists will join Taylor to answer attendee questions on various topics, such as the Headwaters at the Comal, NBU’s drone program and residential solar options. “New Braunfels Utilities is invested in our community in many ways,” Taylor said. “It is my hope that through these community forum opportunities, NBU customers will have a better understanding of how we are meeting the needs to provide essential services, and more importantly, how NBU is anticipating future needs and offering innovative solutions to meet customer expectations.”
