Gap Strategies, the consulting firm that is helping to develop the Guiding Guadalupe County strategic plan, says it hopes to present a final document to the Guadalupe County Commissioners Court around the end of October or early November. Meridith Prescott, an associate at Gap Strategies, said the presentation will consist of two separate documents. One will be approximately 80 pages that details every aspect of the plan. The second, she said, will be an easy to understand five- to ten-page digest. Prescott said the formation of a citizen committee is likely to help implement plan recommendations after the documents are complete. “Someone’s got to champion this past the point of when we’re done writing it,” she said.
