A new shared office space has opened in New Braunfels. Sammelplatz brings local businesses and nonprofits together in a shared space with the intention to make a positive impact on the community.

Sammelplatz, meaning “assembly point” in German, has 10 total office spaces and also features two kitchen areas, a main lobby and two public meeting areas that can be rented out by anyone in the community.

“Our tagline is: ‘Sammelplatz, office suites for community-minded entrepreneurs,’” owner Carol Wheeler said. “And really our goal is that everybody who's a part of this space is committed to the community of New Braunfels, or people that are giving back.”

Dr. Janell Sosa, a board-certified family physician, has opened a new office in New Braunfels. She treats patients of all ages and specializes in family medicine, women’s health and common mental health issues. She also performs multiple small procedures, including skin biopsies. The nonprofit organization was previously working out of offices at 244 FM 306, Ste. 120, New Braunfels. New Braunfels Angels first formed in 2018 and aims to provide support to children, youth and families in the foster care community through intentional giving, relationship building and mentorship.
