Chuy’s, the Tex-Mex restaurant chain, anticipates opening its first New Braunfels location in the next few months. The first location of the business opened in Austin in 1982 and features a menu made up of a flavors inspired by New Mexico, the Rio Grande Valley, Mexican border towns and South Texas.

Signature menu items include the Creamy Jalapeno dip, Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom Enchiladas and the Chuychanga. The restaurant will feature happy hour specials, including queso and margaritas on weekdays between 3-6 p.m.

The restaurant is currently hiring full- and part-time positions at the New Braunfels location.

“We are excited to bring Chuy’s to New Braunfels and are looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals to join our team,” said Rebecca Brewer, Chuy’s New Braunfels general manager.
