Multiple local businesses are coming soon to New Braunfels, from a Tex-Mex restaurant to an animal hospital to a frozen custard spot.

Jolt Drive Thru Coffee

Jolt Drive Thru Coffee, a locally owned coffee company, will open in its second New Braunfels location at 1509 N. Walnut Ave. at the end of June.

Jolt Drive Thru Coffee President Kim Scholer said the lot owner of the new location approached them and said he really liked the company's culture and products.

"We're excited to be here," Scholer said.

The coffee company offers a variety of signature and classic coffee beverages. Jolt Drive Thru Coffee also offers sodas, teas and Aura Energy, an energy drink. The coffee drive-thru also sells snacks and protein shakes.

"We use a pure protein from grass-fed New Zealand cows. It's one of my favorite drinks that we have," she said.
