Pam Williams began her career with the city of West Lake Hills in 1999, serving at the police department’s secretary. Since then she has been instrumental in coordinating the annual National Night Out, which is a community event centered on police awareness.

Williams has served the West Lake Hills Police Department for the past 20 years. In celebration of her service to the city, the West Lake Hills City Council recognized Williams during a Feb. 26 council meeting, declaring Feb. 29 Pam Williams day throughout the city.

Mayor Pro Tem Jim O’Connor presented an honorary plaque on behalf of Mayor Linda Anthony, who was not in attendance due to an illness.
