The Leander and Liberty Hill region saw fewer homes sold in March 2025 when compared to March 2024.
The area showed a decrease in the median home sale price, coming in at $480,000 when compared to $515,021 in 2024. The area also saw a general decrease in number of home sales closed or pending, and marked an increase in new and active listings.
Both Leander's 78641 ZIP code and Liberty Hill's 78642 showed drops in the number of homes sold in the region for March. 78642 decreased 17.95% while 78641 dipped 19.58%. 78613, which encompasses parts of Leander and Cedar Park, grew slightly year over year, showing a 13.73% increase.
Median home sale prices also decreased in Liberty Hill and Leander, while 78613 showed some slight increases. 78642 showed the largest decline of 14.21%, dropping from $522,500 to $448,260.
Liberty Hill showed an 18.7% decrease in number of days a home is shown on the market, dropping from an average of 123 days to 100, while 78613 showed an 18.37% increase.
The majority of homes sold in the region fell within the $300,000-$499,000 price range.
