The background
The council seat was made available when outgoing council member David McDonald announced his resignation in July. McDonald resigned so he could run for a Williamson County Commissioner, where he will be challenging Cynthia Long for a seat in Precinct 2.
Blair, an enterprise account executive, had previously run for a seat on the council in the 2025 General Election for Place 1.
